Upon arrival, we spent several days in Ashtead which boasts:

The famous climbing tree, wherin many an epic day wast spent (now greatly reduced thanks to some trimming by local officials)...

the duck pond, mainly owned by Canada Geese...

and a large number of random cats.

While there we also greeted Ben, recently arrived from Boston and rather jet-lagged.

And we introduced Mononautes (the laptop) to the elderly relatives.

As a quick demonstration of the power of technology Jon took a group shot and then roughly photoshopped himself in (look ma, no legs). From left to right: Ben, Elisabeth, Angela, Jon, Auntie Marjorie, Auntie Win, and Auntie Win's friend Marjorie.
