Land ho

On the last morning, the sun dawned as a sliver of red light to the east. It was raining a little, after an entire trip of flat water and open skies, but everyone watched the sunrise anyways.
And finally, to the west, there was land.
This made us all very happy. Of course, we were also a little giddy from staying up all night finishing our final reports.
We sailed into Lyttleton harbor a few hours later.
And here, at the tiny port of Lyttleton, we docked, three and a half weeks after leaving Port Hueneme.
